H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 Filter Kit 77mm
H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 Filter Kit 77mm | Control bright-light exposure
In bright conditions, slowing your shutter usually means stopping down the lens or accepting a faster exposure than you want. The H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 Filter Kit gives you another way to manage the light: an ND32 filter reduces the light entering the camera, letting you use a slower shutter speed in daylight. That makes it useful for still photographers aiming to soften moving water or show motion in clouds while keeping the scene’s brightness under control. It can also help when you want to keep a chosen aperture in strong light rather than changing it just to reduce exposure. The 77mm size is for lenses with a matching 77mm filter thread. This is a specifically rated filter kit, not a general-purpose description of every filter you might need; its appeal is straightforward light reduction for deliberate exposure choices.
Specialist Note
“Will this 77mm H&Y HD EVO-Series IRND32 let me slow the shutter in daylight?” Yes—that’s the reason to consider it. The ND32 rating represents a 32-fold reduction in light, or five stops, so a 1/30 sec exposure can move to about one second without changing the scene’s lighting. For a stream or moving clouds, that can give motion a softer look; take a test frame and adjust from there. The 77mm size suits a lens with a matching filter thread, so it’s worth matching that measurement before choosing. I’d recommend it to photographers who want that specific long-exposure effect; it’s a strong density, so it’s less suited to subtle exposure tweaks.
