Hahnemühle DFA German Etching 310GSM 111.8cmx12m

Hahnemühle DFA German Etching 310GSM 111.8cmx12m | A wide-format paper roll for considered print projects

For wide-format prints planned around a distinctive named paper, the Hahnemühle DFA German Etching 310GSM 111.8cmx12m gives you a clear starting point: German Etching paper in a 310GSM weight, supplied in a 111.8cm by 12m format. It suits photographers, artists and printmakers who already know this is the paper they want and need a long, wide format for their work. The size makes it possible to plan prints across a substantial width, while the 12m length gives you material for a sequence of output rather than a single print. I’d choose it by matching the paper name, weight and dimensions to the job you have in mind; those details are the useful identifiers here. If your print plan calls for German Etching at this weight and width, this roll keeps the choice specific. It’s a focused paper option, rather than a reason to guess at a look or finish.

Planning around the roll

Start with the finished print size and the amount of material your project calls for. The 111.8cm width is the key figure when you’re planning a wide image, while the 12m length helps you think through how much output to schedule from one roll. Those measurements can also help when you’re comparing paper options for a particular print run: match the dimensions first, then make sure the German Etching name and 310GSM weight are the ones you need.

That’s a practical way to approach this product, especially when the paper choice has already been made and the remaining question is format. Keep the title details close to your print plan so you can compare like with like. The named paper, stated weight and roll dimensions are the specifics to work from; the result will depend on the image and the choices in your printing process.
