Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315GSM 43.2cmx12m

Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315GSM 43.2cmx12m | A long run for photo printing

For making photo prints from a continuous length of paper, the Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta 315GSM 43.2cmx12m gives you a 43.2 cm width and 12 metres to work with. It’s a specialist photo paper for photographers and printmakers who want this particular Hahnemühle paper, in a substantial roll length rather than a short sheet format. The name also gives you the key weight: 315 gsm. That’s useful when you’re comparing paper by its stated weight, though weight alone doesn’t tell you how a print will look or feel. The honest starting point is the format: you’ll need a printer and workflow that suit paper 43.2 cm wide. If that width fits your plans, the 12 m length gives you plenty of material for a series of prints or an ongoing print project.

Photo Rag Baryta is the product name to search for if you already know you want this specific Hahnemühle paper. The dimensions make it easier to judge whether the roll fits your intended work before you buy: it is 43.2 cm across and 12 m long. That fixed width is worth keeping in mind when planning prints; the length gives you a continuous supply to work from, rather than a stated count of individual sheets. There’s no claim here about a particular surface appearance or printer compatibility, so choose it on the basis of the named paper, its 315 gsm weight and its dimensions. For a photo-printing setup that calls for this size, those are the details that matter most.
