Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 20.0 M 90dB

Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 20.0 M 90dB | Reach a distant antenna point

Connect an antenna feed to a coax socket across a room or along a longer route with the Hama Antenna Cable Coax-Plug - Coax-Coupling 20.0 M 90dB. It’s a 20-metre cable with a coax plug at one end and a coax coupling at the other, giving you a straightforward way to bridge the gap between an antenna connection and equipment with a coax input. The 90 dB figure is part of the product specification. This cable suits a setup where the connection points aren’t close together and you need extra reach rather than a short lead. Its white colour can also be a practical detail if the cable will be visible against a light wall or trim. The main thing to plan is the route: 20 metres gives you plenty of length, but it’s still worth measuring the path you intend to use.

That longer run can help when equipment has to sit somewhere other than right beside the antenna connection. You can trace the intended path around furniture or along a wall, then decide where the cable should enter the room and meet the coax socket. The plug-to-coupling arrangement gives the two ends distinct connection types, so it’s useful to identify which end needs to meet each point before routing the cable. Keep the route in mind when measuring; a cable path that follows a wall or turns around an obstacle may take more length than a straight line between the endpoints. This is a simple, specific solution for extending an antenna connection. It won’t tidy the route for you, so a little planning beforehand makes the installation easier to manage.
