Hama DisplayPort-Cable DP 1.2 UltraHD 4K 5.00 M

Hama DisplayPort-Cable DP 1.2 UltraHD 4K 5.00 M | A longer 4K display connection

Connect a DisplayPort source to a display and send an UltraHD 4K picture with the Hama DisplayPort-Cable DP 1.2 UltraHD 4K 5.00 M. Its 5.00-metre length gives you more room to position the screen than a short lead, which can help when the source and display aren’t next to each other. The cable is specified for DisplayPort 1.2 and UltraHD 4K, so those are the key details to match to your setup. It’s a straightforward option for a desk or viewing area where the display needs to sit farther from the device supplying the picture. The length is generous, though it can leave spare cable if your equipment is close together; plan the route before you connect everything.

Plan the route first

Measure the path the cable will actually take, rather than just the distance between the two devices. A route around the edge of a desk or behind furniture can use more length than a straight line, and leaving a little slack makes it easier to move equipment without pulling on the connection. If the devices are close, consider where the extra cable will sit so it stays tidy and out of the way. Keeping the route simple also makes it easier to reach the connections later. These small checks help you decide if this 5.00-metre cable suits the space you have in mind.
