Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano 82 mm
Hama Filter Profi Line UV Nano 82 mm | A clearly specified UV filter for your lens
Rather than adding a colour or special-effect look, a UV filter is for shoppers who specifically want this type of filter on a lens. Hama’s Profi Line UV Nano is a straightforward option in the 82 mm size, suited to a lens with a matching filter thread. Its role is defined by its UV designation, so it makes sense when that’s the kind of filter you intend to use—not as a substitute for a polariser or an effect filter. The name also identifies it as part of Hama’s Profi Line and as a Nano version; those labels distinguish the product, but I wouldn’t infer a particular coating result from them alone. For a buyer who knows the required size and wants this specific filter type, it keeps the choice simple. It’s also a practical way to organise a filter kit by type and diameter, especially if your lenses take different sizes. If you’re choosing for a particular image effect, start with the filter category rather than expecting an unspecified look.
Specialist Note
I’d keep expectations measured: the name alone doesn’t tell me how much visible difference this filter will make in a given scene. The reason I’d still consider this Hama is that its UV designation is clear, and the stated diameter gives you a practical matching point: use it with a lens that has a filter thread for that size. It suits someone choosing a UV filter for a known setup, rather than someone after a dramatic colour or contrast effect. I’d make the decision based on the filter type and fit, not on the Nano label alone.
