Hama Filter Ultimate UV 67 mm
Hama Filter Ultimate UV 67 mm | A simple way to limit UV haze
Bright daylight and distant landscapes can make UV haze an annoyance, while leaving a lens front exposed to everyday dust and fingerprints is another small worry. The Hama Filter Ultimate UV 67 mm is a UV filter for photographers who want a straightforward filter in front of a lens that accepts 67 mm filters. Its purpose is to filter ultraviolet light, so it makes most sense for outdoor photography, especially when distant detail looks veiled by atmospheric haze. It also puts a removable surface ahead of the lens, giving you a separate surface to clean if routine marks land up front. Keep it clean: smudges on a filter can show in pictures, particularly when bright light enters the frame. This isn't a dramatic-effect filter, but a practical option for everyday shooting when UV filtering is what you need.
Specialist Note
A UV filter won't clear every hazy scene, so I wouldn't buy it expecting a dramatic change in every frame. The reason I recommend this Hama Ultimate is its straightforward 67 mm size: it suits lenses that accept 67 mm filters, so choose it by the filter size your lens uses, not by the camera body. For outdoor landscapes, use it when distant scenery looks veiled; for everyday handling, it gives you a separate surface to wipe if fingerprints land up front. Keep that surface clean, and remove the filter if reflections become distracting. It's best for someone who wants a simple UV filter, rather than a creative effect.
