Hama Filter UV 37mm 70037 700 Serie
Hama Filter UV 37mm 70037 700 Serie | UV filtering in a compact size
Your lens can stay ready for outdoor scenes with a UV filter in place. This Hama filter is made in a 37mm size and is intended to filter ultraviolet light. It suits photographers whose lens has a matching 37mm filter thread and who want a simple filter for everyday daylight photography, from a walk through town to a landscape outing. Match the size printed on the lens to the filter before fitting it; the diameter is the key detail here. A UV filter isn’t a tool for darkening skies or removing reflections, so it won’t give you those effects. Its purpose is more specific: UV filtering in a straightforward, standard-size filter. The name also identifies it as part of Hama’s 700 Series, with 70037 as the product reference.
Specialist Note
37 mm is the filter diameter, so in practice this is for a lens marked with a matching 37mm filter thread. I’d use that measurement as the first check when choosing this Hama, rather than relying on the camera body name. The UV designation tells you its intended filtering role; it isn’t a polariser, so don’t expect it to cut reflections from water or deepen a blue sky. It suits someone who wants a simple UV filter for everyday outdoor photography, such as street scenes or open landscapes. Hama’s 70037 reference is handy if you need to identify this exact 700 Series filter again.
