Hama Scart-Verbindingskabel Plug - Plug 1.5 M Black

Hama Scart-Verbindingskabel Plug - Plug 1.5 M Black | A direct SCART link for nearby equipment

To connect two pieces of SCART equipment and keep them within a short reach of one another, use a cable with a plug at each end. The Hama Scart-Verbindingskabel Plug - Plug 1.5 M Black is a SCART connection cable measuring 1.5 metres, in black. It suits a setup where both devices have SCART sockets and can sit within that distance. The practical benefit is straightforward: you can make a direct cable connection between them. Before settling on a route, consider where the equipment sits and how the cable will run between the two sockets. At 1.5 metres, this cable is best suited to a short connection rather than a run across a room. Its black finish is understated beside dark equipment, though you’ll still want to keep the cable’s path tidy. For a basic SCART-to-SCART connection, the key details are simple: a plug at either end and 1.5 metres between them.

Plan the cable run

It helps to decide where the two devices will sit before connecting them. Measure the route between their SCART sockets, rather than relying only on the straight-line distance between the units. The cable needs to reach both ends along the path you intend to use. If the equipment is close together, 1.5 metres gives you a defined length to work with; if your planned route is longer, this cable may not reach. Keep the route in mind when positioning the devices, so the connection doesn’t have to pull tight or take an awkward path. That small bit of planning makes the most of a short SCART cable.
