Hama VGA Cable 1.5 Meter

Hama VGA Cable 1.5 Meter | A short VGA connection without excess slack

When equipment needs a VGA connection, an overly long cable can leave spare length trailing across a desk or work area. The Hama VGA Cable 1.5 Meter gives you a short lead for a nearby connection, without taking up space with a longer run than you need. It suits anyone setting up equipment with VGA connections where the devices sit within easy reach of each other. The cable is grey, a simple, unobtrusive colour for a practical setup. Its stated length is the detail to focus on: it’s intended for a relatively short route, rather than a connection that needs to cross a room. No fuss, just a VGA cable with a clearly defined length.

Plan the route before you connect

It’s worth thinking about the cable path, not just the distance between the two pieces of equipment. A lead may need to go around the edge of a desk or follow a route that leaves room to move things, so measure along the path you’ll actually use. That gives you a more useful estimate than measuring straight across the gap. If the equipment is close together and the route is direct, this short cable may suit the setup. If the path bends around furniture or needs extra slack, allow for that when deciding whether the length works for you. Keeping the run simple can also help avoid a loose coil of cable taking up workspace. The grey finish keeps the cable visually low-key, though the main consideration is still whether the route is short enough.
