Ilford Delta 100 Prof 20.3 X 25.4cm (8x10)

Ilford Delta 100 Prof 20.3 X 25.4cm (8x10) | Film for 8x10 work

Making photographs in an 8x10 format starts with choosing film for that image size. Ilford Delta 100 Prof is photographic film measuring 20.3 x 25.4 cm (8x10). It suits photographers whose project calls for this specific format, rather than someone still deciding what size to work in. The supplier lists its colour as black. The appeal here is straightforward: a clearly named Ilford film with its format set out in the product title. Its best use is work planned around an 8x10 image area. One honest point: this is a format-specific choice, so the size matters as much as the film name when deciding if it fits your project.

When planning a shoot, settle on the image area you want before choosing materials. That decision affects how you compose and how the finished photograph will sit within the project. This listing is most relevant once that direction is clear; its useful buying detail is the identified film and format, not a promise about the look of the result. If your brief calls for 8x10, the title makes the format easy to identify while you compare options. If the intended size is still undecided, work that out first rather than choosing on the product name alone. Keep the planned image in mind, then select film that matches the format your work requires.
