Ilford Direct Positive Paper FB 1K 12.7x17.8cm 25 Vel

Ilford Direct Positive Paper FB 1K 12.7x17.8cm 25 Vel | Direct-positive paper in a practical sheet format

Ilford Direct Positive Paper FB 1K comes in 12.7 x 17.8 cm sheets, with 25 sheets in the pack. It’s for photographers who specifically need direct-positive paper in this format, rather than a general photo paper for an unspecified project. The product’s name gives you the key buying points up front: the paper type, sheet size and pack quantity. That makes it easier to decide whether it suits the print size and number of prints you have in mind. Its clearest use is work that calls for direct-positive paper; the format is a particularly relevant detail when you’re planning a set of prints. If you’re choosing paper for a particular process, make sure this is the direct-positive type you’re looking for. One honest point: the pack is a defined size, so it may be more than you need for a very small test.

Choosing this pack

This is a focused option for a project with a clear paper requirement. Start with the format you want to print on, then consider how many sheets you expect to use. A pack of 25 gives you a set quantity to plan around, while the named Ilford Direct Positive Paper type helps distinguish it from other photo papers. That’s useful when you’re matching supplies to a specific print workflow or keeping your materials consistent across a project. If your intended work calls for this paper type and sheet format, the product name gives you a straightforward basis for that decision. There’s no need to read more into it than that: the practical choice is whether these sheets fit the job you’re planning.
