Indipro V-Mount Battery Plate w/ 15mm Rod Mount

Indipro V-Mount Battery Plate w/ 15mm Rod Mount | Power and balance for a camera rig

A compact camera rig can run short on power, while a battery mounted at the back can also help balance the setup. The Indipro V-Mount Battery Plate w/ 15mm Rod Mount combines a V-mount battery plate with a 15mm rod bracket, for powering a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or 6K from a V-mount battery. It’s a focused rig accessory for operators working with either of those cameras and a 15mm rod system. Use it to supply camera power from a V-mount battery, attach it to the rig through the included bracket, or position it at the rear of the rig to act as a counterweight. That last use is especially relevant when you’re arranging the battery behind the camera rather than carrying it elsewhere on the rig. The useful distinction here is the combination of battery mounting and rod-based rig attachment in one plate-and-bracket setup. It keeps the product’s role clear: this is a V-mount power option for the named Pocket Cinema Camera models, with a mounting method that also supports rear-rig placement. The listing identifies the camera systems and rod size, so those are the details to match against your setup.

Rig and Power Highlights

• V-mount battery power: The plate provides a way to power a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K or 6K using a V-mount battery. It’s useful when you want that battery type to serve as the camera’s power source.
• Made for Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and 6K: Those are the camera models identified for this plate. That makes its intended camera pairing specific, rather than a general claim of compatibility with every camera.
• 15mm rod bracket included: The supplied bracket attaches the plate to a video rig using a 15mm rod system. Rod mounting gives the plate a defined place within a rig assembled around that standard.
• Rear-rig placement: Mounted at the back of the rig, the plate can serve as a counterweight. This gives it a second role alongside carrying a V-mount battery for camera power.
• Plate and bracket combination: The plate handles the V-mount battery, while the included rod bracket provides the stated rig attachment. Together, they bring battery placement and rod mounting into the same accessory package.
• Useful for rig power setups: The product is intended for powering the named Pocket Cinema Camera models from a V-mount battery. That makes it relevant to a rig setup where this battery format is part of the power arrangement.
• Can contribute to rig balance: The stated counterweight use applies when the plate is fitted at the rear. It’s a clear reason to consider rear placement as well as the plate’s battery function.
