JJC Moistureproof Filtercase Small
JJC Moistureproof Filtercase Small | A compact buffer inside your bag
The defining choice is the small pouch format: this is a protective case designed to sit inside a larger bag, giving gear its own buffer instead of leaving it loose among other items. JJC’s stated purpose is to help protect gear from scratches and bumps while it’s packed away. That suits photographers who carry smaller pieces of kit in a camera bag and want to keep them separate from the other contents. It isn’t a replacement for a larger carrying bag; its job is to add a layer of protection within one. If you’re organising a packed bag, this gives you a simple place to keep an item contained rather than rubbing against other gear. The small format keeps its role focused: protecting gear in transit inside a larger bag, without taking the place of the bag itself.
Specialist Note
Packing takes one extra step: put the item in this small pouch before placing it in your larger bag, so it isn’t loose beside other gear. I like the clear, focused job here: it’s a protective case intended to reduce the risk of two familiar kinds of contact, scratches and bumps. It suits someone who wants a smaller piece of gear kept separate inside a camera bag, especially when several items share the same space. I’d use it as an inner layer, not as the only carrying solution for a whole kit. Its small format is what makes it handy for this specific role, and also keeps that role limited.
