K&F Concept Variabel ND Filter ND3-1000 Nano X - 77mm

K&F Concept Variabel ND Filter ND3-1000 Nano X - 77mm | Control bright light with adjustable ND

Bright daylight can make it hard to use the shutter speed or aperture you want without overexposing your image. This K&F Concept variable ND filter reduces the light reaching the camera, with adjustable density so you can adapt as conditions change. It’s aimed at photographers and video makers who want more control over exposure in bright settings, rather than a fixed amount of light reduction. The ND3-1000 designation is part of the product name; the title also identifies it as a Nano X filter with a 77mm diameter. Use it to help keep a chosen shutter speed for video, or to make a longer exposure for moving water. The practical starting point is your lens: this is a 77mm filter, so the diameter needs to match.

Getting the exposure you want

For a moving-water photograph, lengthen the exposure until the flow takes on the softness you want, then adjust the filter to manage the available light. For video, set your preferred shutter speed first and use the variable ND adjustment to bring exposure under control. Check the image as you make changes; the right setting depends on the scene and the result you’re after. That hands-on adjustment is useful when light levels shift, but it still takes a little care to settle on the look you want.
