K&F Concept Variabel ND Filter ND8-2000 Super Slim - 43mm
K&F Concept Variable ND Filter ND8-2000 Super Slim - 43mm | Control light for longer exposures
Bright daylight can leave you choosing between a fast shutter speed and the look you want. A variable ND filter reduces the light reaching the camera, giving you room to use a slower shutter speed or a wider aperture in brighter conditions. This K&F Concept filter is for photographers and video makers who want adjustable light reduction rather than swapping between fixed ND strengths. It’s especially useful for daylight scenes where you want motion to look softer, or where you’d like to keep an aperture setting while managing exposure. The ND8-2000 range gives you a broad span of adjustment in one filter. Its 43mm size is intended for a lens with a matching filter size, so it’s worth checking the marking on your lens before choosing a filter. The super-slim design keeps the profile low.
Specialist Note
For a stream in bright daylight, I’d aim for a shutter speed around 1/2 sec and adjust the filter until the exposure is where you want it. That’s the kind of situation where the ND8-2000 range is useful: you can vary the light reduction instead of changing fixed ND filters as conditions shift. The 43mm size suits a lens with a matching filter size, so this is a specific fit rather than a universal one. I’d recommend it to someone who regularly wants softer-looking water or slower motion outdoors. One limitation to keep in mind: an ND filter reduces light, so it’s less helpful in dim scenes where you already need a fast shutter speed.
