Kaiser 6972 Lens Cap 72mm
Kaiser 6972 Lens Cap 72mm | A straightforward cover for a 72mm lens
The useful distinction with the Kaiser 6972 is right in its name: it’s a lens cap sized for 72mm. That makes it relevant to photographers who need a replacement or a spare for a lens marked with that size, rather than a general-purpose accessory. A lens cap covers the front of a lens when you’re not using it, helping keep it out of the way of everyday dust and accidental contact during storage or transport. There’s no extra feature to learn or setting to manage; its job is simple. Keep one on the lens between photographs, then remove it before shooting. If you’re sorting accessories for a camera bag or replacing a missing cap, the clearly stated size is the practical starting point. Match that marking carefully: this cap is for the 72mm size.
Specialist Note
People buying their first replacement cap often go by how it looks, then find that the size is what matters. With this Kaiser, the 72mm designation gives you a clear check against the marking on your lens. The 6972 model number is handy when you need to identify this particular Kaiser cap again, rather than searching by brand alone. It suits photographers with a 72mm lens who want a cover for storage at home or while carrying their kit between locations. One limitation is that the stated size makes it a specific match, not a universal spare.
