Kondor Blue KB-15ROD15-2 15" PPSh 15mm Rod Threaded Space Grey 2-Pack
Kondor Blue KB-15ROD15-2 15" PPSh 15mm Rod Threaded Space Grey 2-Pack | Two matching rods for a considered rig layout
Build a camera-rig layout around two matching support rods, with space to plan their placement side by side. The Kondor Blue KB-15ROD15-2 is a 15-inch pair of threaded 15mm rods in Space Grey. It suits filmmakers and camera operators assembling a rig who want a pair of rods with the same stated length and diameter, rather than a mixed set. The 15mm measurement gives you a clear size to work from when planning your setup, while the two-rod format lets you arrange a parallel pair. Threading is part of the specification, so these aren’t simply described as plain rods. The Space Grey finish keeps the look restrained alongside a rig. This is a focused component, not a complete camera rig; its appeal is having two matching rods in one product. The title also identifies them as PPSh rods, without giving a further expansion of that term.
Specialist Note
The 15-inch length gives these rods a useful span for laying out a rig, rather than leaving you to build around a very short support. I’d consider this pair for a setup where you want two matching runs; the 15mm diameter gives you a specific size to plan around when arranging the rest of the rig. Threading is a practical detail, but the product name doesn’t specify its location or thread size, so I wouldn’t assume a particular fastening arrangement. For a customer choosing by dimensions and wanting a coordinated pair, the appeal is straightforward: two rods, the same length, with a low-key Space Grey finish.
