Kondor Blue KB-CAR-104 Cine Lens Clamp-On Adapter Rings 114-104 Adapter
Kondor Blue KB-CAR-104 Cine Lens Clamp-On Adapter Rings 114-104 Adapter | A focused size transition for cine lens rigs
On a cine lens rig, the right adapter ring earns its place when the clamp-on connection you need doesn’t match the size of the setup you’re joining it to. The Kondor Blue KB-CAR-104 is a cine lens clamp-on adapter ring identified as 114-104, made for that specific size transition. It suits camera crews and lens technicians who already know they need to bridge those measurements and want an accessory with a clearly marked purpose. The appeal is its narrow, practical role: it helps address a mismatch at the clamp-on interface, rather than adding controls or changing how a lens operates. Before choosing it, compare the 114-104 designation with the two sides of your intended connection. If those are the sizes you need to join, this is a straightforward part to consider; it won’t solve other fitment differences elsewhere in a rig.
Specialist Note
The 114-to-104 step is the detail to focus on here: this ring is for bridging those two sizes in a cine lens clamp-on setup. I’d point it out to someone assembling a rig whose lens-side clamp and adjoining accessory call for that particular transition. Match the 114 and 104 sides to the parts you’re joining, and you can keep the job focused on the connection rather than changing the rest of your setup. Its clamp-on designation makes the intended role clear, but it’s a specific adapter, not a general fix for every mismatch. If your required sizes are different, this isn’t the ring to reach for.
