Kondor Blue KB-DTAP-FLEMO2P-6 6" D-Tap On 2 Pin LEMO Socket Adapter For Teradek

Kondor Blue KB-DTAP-FLEMO2P-6 6" D-Tap On 2 Pin LEMO Socket Adapter For Teradek | A short adapter for a Teradek setup

The Kondor Blue KB-DTAP-FLEMO2P-6 is a 6-inch adapter with a D-Tap connection and a 2-pin LEMO socket, made for Teradek. It’s for camera crews who need those connector types in a compact cable link. Its main advantage is straightforward: it brings the D-Tap and 2-pin LEMO socket connection together in one short adapter, rather than asking you to piece together a longer run. That makes it most useful when the power source and Teradek equipment are positioned close to each other on a rig. The connector names matter here, so this isn’t a catch-all cable for any device. If those are the connections your setup calls for, the model gives you a clearly defined option. It’s a specific bit of rigging kit, and that’s exactly where its usefulness lies.

Choosing the right connection

When laying out a rig, it helps to think about the connection at each end before deciding where a cable needs to reach. This adapter is named for a D-Tap connection and a 2-pin LEMO socket, so those details are the place to start. The 6-inch length points to a close connection between pieces of equipment, not a cable intended to span a large distance across a setup. In practical terms, it’s worth planning where the connected items will sit and whether they can be positioned within that short reach. I’d treat the connector match as the deciding factor, then consider the physical layout around it. For a Teradek setup that calls for these connectors, this gives you a compact option without adding a longer cable run to the plan.
