Kondor Blue KB-USBC31-RA-12-BK Dual Right Angle 12" USB-C Braided Cable
Kondor Blue KB-USBC31-RA-12-BK Dual Right Angle 12" USB-C Braided Cable | Neater routing in tight spaces
The defining choice here is a right-angle USB-C plug at each end: both connections can turn close to their ports, which can help keep a cable from sticking straight out into a crowded setup. The Kondor Blue KB-USBC31-RA-12-BK is a short USB-C cable for people arranging a compact camera rig, desk setup or other equipment with USB-C connections. Its dual right-angle layout is most useful when the ports face awkward directions or sit near other gear, and you want the cable to follow the edge of a setup rather than make a wide loop. It’s a focused piece of rigging kit, not a cable to span a room. Choose it when the two connection points are close and you want a tidier route between them. The shape helps with cable placement; it doesn’t tell you how fast data transfers or how much power the cable can carry.
In a compact setup
Plan the cable path from port to port before settling your equipment into place. With an angled plug at each end, the connection can turn near both devices, so there’s less need to bend the cable sharply just to clear nearby objects. That can make a small rig easier to arrange, especially when straight plugs would take up space beside the ports. Keep the cable’s short reach in mind and position the connected devices close enough for a relaxed route.
Specialist Note
The short reach makes cable placement straightforward when your two USB-C ports are already close together. I’d use this 12-inch cable between nearby parts of a compact rig, then route it along the side rather than leaving a long loop across the setup. The braided construction gives the cable a covered outer finish, while its limited length keeps it suited to close connections instead of spanning a desk or separating equipment. It’s a useful, specific fit for a tidy layout; I wouldn’t choose it when you need extra slack or have devices positioned far apart.
