Kondor Blue KB_KOM_BOT RED Komodo Base Plate Space Grey

Kondor Blue KB_KOM_BOT RED Komodo Base Plate Space Grey | A focused base for a Komodo setup

Kondor Blue KB_KOM_BOT RED Komodo Base Plate Space Grey is a space-grey base plate named for the RED Komodo. It’s for camera operators and small production teams putting together a setup around that camera, and its appeal is straightforward: a component identified for the camera it’s intended to serve, in a finish that’s easy to distinguish from black accessories. A base plate is a practical part of a rig, rather than something you buy for a dramatic change to the look of your footage. You’ll want to consider it when a base plate is the piece your setup calls for and you’re looking for one associated with the RED Komodo. The product name gives you a clear starting point when choosing between accessories. Its Space Grey finish is a small but useful visual detail if you prefer your rig components to have a little contrast.

A considered addition to a camera rig

Base plates are often among the less noticeable parts of a camera setup, but they have a defined place in the build: they sit at the base of a rig. That makes choosing the right one a matter of matching the part to the setup you’re assembling, rather than choosing an accessory on appearance alone. Here, the camera reference in the name makes the intended setup easy to identify, while the Kondor Blue model code gives you a specific product to look for when comparing parts or planning a build. Space Grey is the finish named for this version. It’s a restrained detail, not a promise of a particular mounting arrangement or extra function. If you’re building a Komodo rig and need a base plate, this product keeps the decision focused on that part of the setup. It’s a simple, specific accessory; the name tells the story without needing a long list of claims.
