LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 2 1TB

LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 2 1TB | Keep your files close at hand

Keep a working set of photographs, video files or other project material together on an external drive, ready to organise alongside your day-to-day work. The LaCie Little Big Disk Thunderbolt 2 1TB is a 1TB external HDD with a Thunderbolt 2 connection. It suits photographers and other creators looking for a dedicated place to store project files, rather than leaving everything on a computer’s internal storage. Its role is straightforward: provide extra storage for files you want to keep in one place. The 1TB capacity gives you a concrete amount to plan around when deciding which projects belong on the drive. That makes it easier to set up a sensible routine: keep current work together, name folders clearly, and move older projects out of the way when they’re no longer active. It’s a practical, specific storage option; the title doesn’t give a transfer-speed figure, so I wouldn’t choose it on an assumed speed.

Thunderbolt 2 is the connection named in the product title, so it’s worth considering how this drive fits into the storage setup you already use. If your projects are easy to identify, keeping a separate drive for them can make your files simpler to sort and find. For example, you might group material by project or date, then keep the folder structure consistent as you add work. That kind of organisation is down to your workflow, not an automatic feature of the drive. One sensible habit is to keep another copy of important files elsewhere; a single drive gives you a place to store them, but shouldn’t be your only copy. Think of the Little Big Disk as a dedicated home for a defined set of files, with a capacity and connection clearly named in its title. That’s the useful starting point when deciding whether it belongs in your setup.
