Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine Lens - Leica L

Laowa 9mm T2.9 Zero-D Cine Lens – L Mount

The Laowa 9mm T2.9 ZERO-D Cine Lens is a rectilinear ultra-wide-angle lens designed specifically for APS-C cameras. What makes this lens truly unique is its ability to keep straight lines absolutely straight, despite boasting a remarkable 113-degree field of view. This makes it an excellent choice for capturing panoramic landscapes in one shot.

Thanks to its maximum aperture of T2.9, you can comfortably film in low-light conditions. Additionally, this aperture also allows for a shallow depth of field with a wider perspective.

Exceptional Lens Construction

The optical design of the lens is made up of 15 elements clustered in 10 groups. This includes two aspherical elements and three elements with extra-low dispersion that minimise both spherical and chromatic aberrations. This lens can focus from as close as 12 centimeters, and the maximum aperture of T2.9 is perfect for photography or videography under low light condition.

Professional Film Housing

The lens is housed professionally with a 55mm filter thread that accommodates standard screw-in filters. It also features 0.8 mod gears on both the aperture and focusing rings, a stepless aperture ring for smooth operation, and a distance scale on the lens body itself.

Portable and Lightweight

Despite packing in all these features, the lens is compact and lightweight, making it an ideal companion for travel photographers. To assure safety and durability, it comes with a Pelicase for protection during transport.
