Leofoto LPS-ZV-E1 Black L Plate For Sony ZV-E1
Leofoto LPS-ZV-E1 Black L Plate For Sony ZV-E1 | Change tripod framing with less repositioning
Without an L plate, switching a tripod-mounted camera from landscape to portrait often means tilting the tripod head sideways. The Leofoto LPS-ZV-E1 is an L plate tripod accessory for the Sony ZV-E1, intended to make that change of orientation more straightforward. It suits ZV-E1 owners who regularly make both horizontal and vertical compositions from a tripod, such as when photographing products or making stills for portrait-format content. The practical benefit is being able to change framing without relying on a sideways-tilted camera position. That can make it easier to keep your composition where you want it while working with a fixed tripod setup. It’s a focused accessory rather than a replacement for a tripod or head, and its appeal is clearest if you often switch between orientations.

Choosing the right fit
This plate is named for one specific camera model, so it makes sense when the camera you want to mount is a Sony ZV-E1. It isn’t presented as a universal plate for other cameras. If you mainly shoot in one orientation, you may not make much use of the L-shaped arrangement; its purpose is most relevant when your tripod work includes both landscape and portrait framing.
Specialist Note
“Does this L plate make portrait framing on a tripod easier with the ZV-E1?” Yes—that’s the job it’s designed for. The L shape gives you a mounting option along the side as well as the base, so you can move to a vertical composition without simply tipping the camera over to one side. Because this version is for the Sony ZV-E1, I’d choose it for that body rather than assume it suits another camera. Its black finish keeps the look understated. It’s most worthwhile if you often alternate between horizontal product shots and vertical images; if you rarely change orientation, a standard tripod setup may be enough.”
