Marumi Circ Pola Filter Super DHG 67 mm
Marumi Circ Pola Filter Super DHG 67 mm | Control reflections and sky
Without a polarizing filter, bright reflections can take attention away from the subject, and a blue sky may look pale in a photograph. The Marumi Circ Pola Filter Super DHG is a circular polarizing filter for photographers who want more control over those effects while shooting, rather than relying on editing afterwards. It can help reduce reflections from surfaces such as water and glass, and deepen the appearance of a blue sky when the shooting angle is right. Turn the filter while looking at the scene to adjust the effect to suit your composition. Its 67 mm size is for a lens with a matching 67 mm filter thread, so the fit is clear from the filter diameter. This is a focused tool for landscapes, architecture and scenes with distracting glare; it won’t remove every reflection, and the result depends on the light and your position.
Specialist Note
“Will the Marumi Circ Pola Filter Super DHG help with reflections on water?” Yes, it can reduce them, and you can adjust the effect by turning the circular polarizer while you look at the scene. For a landscape, I’d watch the sky as I turn it; the change is strongest when you’re shooting roughly at right angles to the sun. The 67 mm diameter means this filter is made for a lens with a 67 mm filter thread, so match that measurement before choosing it. Its black finish keeps the filter visually discreet on the front of your lens. It suits anyone who often photographs water, glass or open skies and wants to make that adjustment at the point of capture.
