Specialist Note
Is the Meike MK 65mm T2.2 too tight for interviews? It can be in a small room, but it’s a strong option when you have space to step back and want a close, contained frame. On a Micro Four Thirds body, 65mm gives a 130mm full-frame equivalent field of view, so plan your camera position before you start rolling. T2.2 is useful when you want to work with less light than a slower aperture would allow. Manual focus rewards a measured approach: set focus on your subject, then make any focus change slowly and intentionally. I’d pair it with a wider lens for roomier scenes.
