Nedis Actieve USB-Cable USB 1.1 USB-A Male RJ45 Female 12 Mbps 0.20m

Nedis Active USB Cable USB 1.1 USB-A Male RJ45 Female 12 Mbps 0.20m | A short link between USB-A and RJ45

What sets this cable apart is its combination of a USB-A male connector and an RJ45 female connector in a compact active design. It suits someone whose setup specifically calls for those two connector types and a short cable, rather than a longer, general-purpose lead. The listed USB standard is 1.1, with a rate of 12 Mbps, and the cable measures 0.20 m. That makes its intended role quite specific: bridging a nearby USB-A connection to an RJ45 plug connection where this particular type of cable is required. The connector names tell you what the ends are; they don’t, by themselves, identify which equipment will work with it. Match the cable to a setup that calls for these connections and this USB standard. Its short length is a practical detail to keep in mind when placing the connected equipment.

A cable for a specific connection

The RJ45 end is female, so it takes a matching male plug; the USB-A end is male. That distinction matters when you’re checking the physical connection your setup needs. The cable is active, as stated in its name, but the title doesn’t explain what circuitry or function that involves, so it’s best to treat “active” as part of the product identification rather than assume a particular capability. Likewise, the stated 12 Mbps is the rate given for this USB 1.1 cable; it isn’t a promise about the speed of any connected equipment. At just 20 cm long, it’s better suited to connection points that sit close together than to a run across a desk. If the connector types, USB standard and short reach match your requirements, this Nedis cable gives you those details in one compact product name.
