Nedis CAT6 SF/UTP-Network Cable RJ45M-RJ45M 5.0m BK

Nedis CAT6 SF/UTP-Network Cable RJ45M-RJ45M 5.0m BK | A direct wired network link

A wired connection gives you a direct way to link network equipment, without relying on a wireless connection for that link. This Nedis CAT6 network cable is for setups where both ends use an RJ45 socket and you need 5.0 metres between them. It has an RJ45 male connector at each end, so you can plug it into the relevant ports on your equipment. The cable suits a home or work setup where a cable run needs to reach across a room or along a desk. Its black colour is easy to keep visually discreet beside darker equipment. The useful thing here is the clearly stated length: you can plan the route before connecting everything. Just allow for the path the cable needs to take; a straight-line measurement between devices won’t account for turns or routing around furniture.

Planning your cable run

Before you connect it, think about where each device sits and where the cable can run between them. At 5.0 metres, this cable gives you room to position the connected equipment apart, while keeping the connection wired. The RJ45 male ends are intended to plug into RJ45 network ports; the cable itself doesn’t change what those ports or devices can do. That’s a straightforward point, but it matters when choosing any network cable: the right length and matching connections are what make it fit your setup. If your equipment is already arranged and you know the route, this is a simple way to make that link. If the path is uncertain, measure it first so you can judge whether 5.0 metres will reach.
