Nedis Coaxial Cable 100dB IEC (Coax) M - IEC (Coax) M 5.0m WH

Nedis Coaxial Cable 100dB IEC (Coax) M - IEC (Coax) M 5.0m WH | A straightforward connection between coax sockets

When a television or another coax-connected device needs a cable run to a wall connection, this Nedis cable keeps the job simple: it has male IEC coax connectors at both ends. The 5.0m length gives you some room to route around furniture instead of placing everything right beside the socket. It’s listed as 100dB, and its white finish can suit a setup where a dark cable would be more noticeable. This cable suits a home connection where both endpoints use the same IEC coax format and the route fits within its reach. It’s a straightforward option for replacing a missing cable or completing a basic connection. One practical point: measure the path you want the cable to follow, not just the gap between the two devices.

Planning the connection

Before connecting anything, look at where the cable needs to start and finish. Make sure the two connection points are accessible, then consider the route between them: around a cabinet, along a skirting board, or behind a piece of furniture. A neat path is easier to live with and less likely to get in the way when you use the room. Leave enough slack at each end to reach the sockets without pulling the cable tight. If the route involves a doorway or a place where people walk, think about how to keep the cable out of the way. These small checks make a simple cable installation less fiddly, and help you decide whether this length and connector format fit the setup you have in mind.
