Nedis DP-Cable DP Male HDMI Male Vernikkeld 2.00m Round PVC Black Label

Nedis DP-Cable DP Male HDMI Male Vernikkeld 2.00m Round PVC Black Label | A direct link between two connection types

Nedis DP-Cable DP Male HDMI Male Vernikkeld 2.00m Round PVC Black Label has a 2.00 m cable with a DisplayPort male plug at one end and an HDMI male plug at the other. It’s for a setup that calls for those two connector types, with male plugs on both ends. The nickel-plated connectors and round PVC cable are practical details to know when you’re choosing a cable for a particular connection. The black finish keeps the cable visually low-key alongside other equipment. The key point is the connector pairing: it’s a specific cable, not a general-purpose lead for any screen or device. If that pairing matches the ports you need to connect, the 2.00 m length gives you a set distance to work with. That’s the useful thing to plan around; cable routing can take more length than the straight-line gap between two devices.

Planning the cable route

Measure the route the cable will actually follow, rather than only the space between the two devices. A run may need to go around the edge of a desk or along a wall, and the plugs need room to reach their ports without being pulled tight. The stated length is 2.00 m, so leave some allowance for the path and for positioning the connected equipment. If you’re arranging a tidy setup, decide where the cable will run before placing the devices. Its round shape and black colour are straightforward details to consider when planning that route; they don’t change the connector types at either end. Keep the cable path accessible if you expect to move or rearrange the equipment.
