Nedis Power Cable Grounded Male IEC-320-C13 Straight Straight 5 M Round

Nedis Power Cable Grounded Male IEC-320-C13 Straight Straight 5 M Round | A five-metre power connection

The defining choice here is the five-metre length: it gives you more reach when the power point and the equipment aren’t close together. This Nedis cable connects a grounded male plug to an IEC-320-C13 connector, with straight ends and a round cable. It suits anyone replacing a cable or setting up equipment that uses this connection. The benefit is straightforward: you can plan a longer route without needing a short lead and an extension as separate pieces. Its black finish keeps the cable visually unobtrusive in many setups, though that’s a matter of taste. There’s no special complication to the format; the useful details are the connector type, the reach and the straight layout. If those match your setup, this is a simple power-cable option.

Planning the cable run

Before choosing a cable length, think about the route it will actually take between the power point and the equipment. Measure along the path rather than judging the gap in a straight line: a cable may need to follow the edge of a desk or pass around another object. The stated length gives you a clear figure to work with, but the available reach depends on where the two connections sit and how you route the cable. Straight connectors keep the ends in line with the cable, so allow for the space they need at each connection. The round form is another practical detail to consider when planning where the cable will lie. Keep the route in mind, then compare it with the cable’s length; that’s the useful check before you choose.
