Nedis Speaker-Cable | 2X 2.50 mm² | CCA | 100.0m | Round | A long run for speaker wiring

What sets this Nedis cable apart is its 100-metre length: it gives you one continuous length to plan a speaker run, rather than a short piece for a single connection. It suits anyone wiring speakers around a room or working through a longer installation, where measuring the route first makes a difference. The cable has two conductors, each with a 2.50 mm² cross-section, and is made with CCA. Its round shape is worth noting when you’re working out how it will follow the route you have in mind. This is straightforward speaker cable, best suited to jobs where you need a generous length and want to cut the run to suit your layout. One practical point: a long cable is only helpful if you’ve planned where it needs to go, so take a moment to map the route before cutting.

Planning the cable run

Start by tracing the path from your audio equipment to the speaker position, including the route around furniture, along a wall or through any planned cable channel. Measure the actual path rather than the straight-line distance; bends and detours can add up. If you’re wiring more than one speaker, plan each route separately and keep the cable paths clear in your notes. That makes it easier to cut lengths with the layout in front of you, instead of guessing and having to redo a section. Think about where the cable will be visible, too: a tidy route is easier to live with and easier to follow if you need to adjust the setup later. The main job here is simple planning. Decide the route first, then cut only what each connection needs.
