Nedis Stereo-Audio Cable 2X RCA M-2X RCA F 2.0m BK

Nedis Stereo-Audio Cable 2X RCA M-2X RCA F 2.0m BK | Extend a stereo RCA connection

Without an extension, an RCA audio lead has to reach the equipment directly. This Nedis cable gives you another connection point, with two male RCA plugs at one end and two female RCA sockets at the other. At 2.0 metres, it can help when the existing lead falls short of the socket it needs to reach. It’s for someone working with a stereo RCA connection who needs that particular plug-to-socket arrangement, rather than a cable with plugs at both ends. The cable is black. Its purpose is straightforward: extend a stereo audio connection while keeping the familiar two-RCA format. Before buying, look at both ends of the connection you’re joining; the male and female sides need to match the sockets and plugs in your setup.

Getting the connection right

RCA cables are easy to identify by their round plugs and sockets, but it’s still worth tracing the connection before you choose a cable. Note whether the existing lead ends in plugs or sockets, then look at the audio connection it needs to reach. This model has a specific arrangement: male connectors on one side and female connectors on the other. That makes it a practical option when those are the ends your setup calls for, but it won’t change one connector format into another. If the connection you need is different, this isn’t the right cable for that job. A quick look at each end can save you from choosing by the general “RCA” label alone.
