Nedis Stereo Audio Cable 3.5mm M - 2X RCA M 3.0m GY

Nedis Stereo Audio Cable 3.5mm M - 2X RCA M 3.0m GY | Connect stereo audio with a 3 m cable

Without a cable with the right plugs at each end, connecting a 3.5 mm stereo socket to a pair of RCA sockets can mean searching through a drawer of leads and adapters. This Nedis cable brings those connections together in one 3.0-metre run: a 3.5 mm male plug at one end and two male RCA plugs at the other. It suits a setup where those are the connections you need, and where the extra length helps you route the cable between the two points. The cable is grey, so it’s easy to distinguish from a black lead in a busy bundle. Its job is straightforward: provide a stereo audio connection between the differently shaped ends. One practical point: 3 metres gives you room to route the cable, but it’s still worth planning where the slack will sit.

A direct connection between two plug types

The useful detail here is the arrangement of the connectors, rather than a collection of adapters: one 3.5 mm male connector meets two RCA male connectors. That makes the cable relevant when the connection points already have those matching sockets. The stereo designation describes the audio connection this cable is made for; the two RCA plugs form the pair at that end. With 3.0 metres of cable between the ends, you can place the connected points apart without needing to stretch a short lead tight. Keep the route in mind when setting it up, especially if the cable needs to pass around furniture or equipment. This is a simple connecting cable, not a device in its own right, and the value is in having the required plug arrangement in a single lead.
