Nikon CL-0715 Lens Soft Case (AF DX 10.5/2.8G)
Nikon CL-0715 Lens Soft Case (AF DX 10.5/2.8G) | A dedicated case for your Nikon lens
Keep your Nikon AF DX 10.5/2.8G lens together between uses, ready for the next wide-angle frame. The Nikon CL-0715 Lens Soft Case is the lens case named for this specific model, rather than a general camera bag. It suits photographers who own that lens and want a dedicated place for it when it’s off the camera, at home or while packing their kit. The lens designation includes 10.5mm and f/2.8: that’s a distinctive focal length for building a frame around a broad view, while the f/2.8 maximum aperture gives you room to work when the light is lower. This case is about keeping the lens with your equipment, not changing how it renders a scene. It’s a focused accessory for one named lens, so its appeal is straightforward: a separate case for the optic you already use.
Specialist Note
The soft case format gives this named lens its own place in your kit, so it doesn’t have to travel loose among other items. I’d keep the case close by when you remove the 10.5mm lens between setups; that way, it’s easy to return the optic to its dedicated case rather than leave it on a table. The f/2.8 aperture can be useful when you’re photographing in dimmer light, and having a simple place for the lens when it’s off-camera makes sense for photographers who use that option regularly. This is specifically named for the AF DX 10.5/2.8G, so it’s a considered match for owners of that lens. It’s a case, not a substitute for careful handling.
