Nitze Nato Clamp w/ Cold Shoe (NF49E)

Nitze Nato Clamp w/ Cold Shoe (NF49E) | Adds a cold shoe to a NATO setup

What sets the Nitze NF49E apart is clear from its name: it combines a NATO clamp with a cold shoe. It suits anyone building a camera rig around NATO hardware who also needs a shoe-style attachment point. Its best use is simple: secure the clamp to a NATO rail, then use the cold shoe for an accessory with a matching foot. That’s the appeal, without a long list of features to decode. If your rig already uses a NATO rail, the clamp format is the part to focus on; if you need a cold shoe, that interface is here too. I like how direct this product is about its role. It’s a focused mounting accessory, rather than a complete support system, and the two connection types are right there in the title. For a rig that needs this specific link, that clarity makes it easy to understand what you’re considering.

Where it fits in a rig

Think of the NF49E as a connection piece: the NATO clamp secures to a NATO rail, while the cold shoe provides a place for a compatible shoe-foot accessory. Those are distinct parts of the setup, so it helps to picture the connection you need before choosing it. You’re looking at a clamp-and-shoe format, not a general-purpose mount with several attachment points. In practical terms, the NATO side belongs with a NATO rail in your rig, and the shoe side is for an accessory made to fit a cold shoe. That’s the honest way to judge whether this format suits your build. If those are the two interfaces you’re looking to bring together, the product name gives you the essentials without making broader claims about what your rig can do.
