Novoflex Adapter M 39 Wire To Canon FD

Novoflex Adapter M 39 Wire To Canon FD | Connect M 39 Wire to Canon FD

Your M 39 Wire lens can be connected to a Canon FD camera with this Novoflex adapter. It’s for photographers who want to bring those two named mounts together, and its job is specific: M 39 Wire on the lens side, Canon FD on the camera side. That makes mount identification the key point when deciding if it suits your setup. If those are the connections you need, this adapter gives you the link between them. The product name doesn’t tell us how it affects focusing or other lens functions, so I wouldn’t promise anything beyond the mount connection. Check the markings on the lens and camera against the names here; when they match, you’ll know you’re looking at the right kind of adapter.

Understanding the mount direction

With adapters, it helps to read the two mount names as a direction rather than as a general compatibility list. Here, M 39 Wire is the lens-side connection and Canon FD is the camera-side connection. That’s the detail to keep in mind when you’re sorting through older lenses or matching a lens to a camera you already own. The adapter is intended to bridge those two named ends; it doesn’t indicate support for other mounts. If your lens and camera use different connections, this isn’t the pairing described by the product title. A quick look at the mount names can save you from choosing based only on the lens brand or the camera brand. The honest point is simple: this is a specific connection, not a universal adapter.
