Pentax Synchro Terminal 2p Cap(Hot Shoe Afdekklepje)
Pentax Synchro Terminal 2p Cap | Keep the named connection covered
After removing an accessory, a small camera connection can be left exposed while the camera goes back into a bag. The Pentax Synchro Terminal 2p Cap is a cover for that moment: a simple part for someone who needs this specifically named cap, whether replacing a missing one or keeping the connection covered between uses. The product title also describes it as a hot shoe cover flap, so the exact wording is useful when identifying the part you need. Its job is practical rather than photographic: it covers the named area when it isn’t in use. That makes it relevant to Pentax owners looking for this particular cap, not a general-purpose body or lens cap. If you’re sorting small camera parts, keep the terminal designation in the product name in view; it’s the detail that distinguishes this item.
Specialist Note
The compact, cap-like form is the point: it gives you a straightforward way to cover the named connection when it’s idle. I’d suggest this to someone looking for the Pentax Synchro Terminal 2p Cap specifically, especially if a small cover has gone missing. The listing also calls it a hot shoe cover flap, so I’d use the full product name when matching it to the part you’re replacing rather than choosing by appearance alone. Put it on while the connection isn’t being used, such as when the camera is stored or carried. It’s a protective cover, not a way to add a new function to the camera.
