Permajet Etching Rag 310GSM 44INCHES 15m

Permajet Etching Rag 310GSM 44INCHES 15m | A wide roll for considered print work

When a print needs a broad sheet of paper and you want to choose by a named paper type, the Permajet Etching Rag gives you a clear starting point. It’s photo paper supplied in a 44-inch width and 15-metre length, with a stated weight of 310gsm. Those concrete details make it easier to judge whether its format suits the work you have in mind. The name identifies it as Etching Rag; the title doesn’t describe its surface or print characteristics, so I wouldn’t assume a particular look from the name alone. This is best suited to someone who already knows they want this paper type and needs a wide format, rather than a shopper comparing papers by unverified claims. The honest point is that paper choice depends on the result you’re aiming for. Use the product name and dimensions to make that decision, not promises about performance that aren’t provided.

Choosing the format

Before choosing, consider how the paper’s width and length fit the prints you plan to make, and whether the 310gsm weight is right for your intended work. These are the details given in the product name, so they’re the useful things to compare against your project. If the Etching Rag name is already the paper type you’re looking for, the dimensions offer a straightforward way to narrow down the selection. If you’re still deciding between paper types, it’s worth choosing on the basis of the finish you want, using information specific to each paper rather than guessing from a name. For a specialist purchase like this, having the format and weight up front is practical; the rest should be guided by your own print requirements.
