Permajet Etching Rag 310GSM A4 25S

Permajet Etching Rag 310GSM A4 25S | A4 photo paper with a substantial feel

For A4 photo prints where the sheet’s weight matters as much as its size, the Permajet Etching Rag 310GSM A4 25S gives you a clear specification to work from: A4 paper at 310gsm, in a pack of 25 sheets. It’s photo paper for photographers who want to choose their print stock deliberately, rather than treating paper as an afterthought. The 310gsm weight points to a substantial sheet in the hand; that’s the most concrete thing to consider when deciding if it suits the print you have in mind. The name identifies it as Etching Rag, but the details here don’t establish a particular surface appearance or print result, so I wouldn’t choose it on those assumptions alone. If the format, weight and paper name fit your brief, this pack gives you 25 sheets to work with.

Choosing the right paper for your print

Start with the finished print, not just the image on screen. A4 sets the sheet format, while 310gsm gives you a specific paper weight to compare with the stock you normally use. Those details can help narrow down a paper choice, but they don’t tell the whole story of how a print will look; your image, printer and print settings also matter. If you’re selecting paper for a particular project, think about whether A4 is the size you need and whether a heavier sheet is appropriate for how you’ll present or handle the print. The 25-sheet quantity makes the pack size easy to judge before you begin. One honest point: a paper’s name and weight alone can’t predict the final appearance, so the best reason to choose this one is that its stated format and weight match your requirements.
