Permajet Matt Proofing 160 A4 Trade Pack 750SH

Permajet Matt Proofing 160 A4 Trade Pack 750SH | A large pack for proofing prints

You’re preparing a print and want a paper proof to review before moving on to the next step. The Permajet Matt Proofing 160 is made for that kind of job: it’s a matt proofing paper in A4, supplied as a trade pack of 750 sheets. That combination suits photographers, studios and print rooms that proof regularly and want a substantial supply to hand. The title’s “160” gives the product’s stated rating, while “750SH” identifies the pack size in sheets. It’s a straightforward option when proofing is part of your normal print workflow, rather than an occasional task. The honest appeal here is practical: a clear proofing purpose, a familiar paper format and a high sheet count in one pack. If you’re comparing papers, keep the decision focused on whether matt proofing paper in A4 is what your workflow calls for.

Putting proofing to work

A proof gives you a chance to look at a print on paper before deciding what to do next. That can make the print workflow easier to assess than relying on a file on screen alone. With a pack of this size, it makes sense for repeat proofing work where you expect to use sheets as part of an ongoing routine. A4 gives you a defined page format for that task, and the matt proofing designation tells you the intended role of the paper. It’s a work-focused product: the point is to make proof prints, review them, and use what you see to guide the next print decision. Keep those basics in mind when choosing it; the pack is centred on proofing, not a general description of every kind of photo paper.
