Permajet Metallic Drylab Roll 6'' - 240 GSM

Permajet Metallic Drylab Roll 6'' - 240 GSM | Metallic character for photo prints

Most photo paper is chosen for the image it carries; with metallic paper, the surface is part of the decision too. Permajet Metallic Drylab Roll is a photo paper roll for photographers and print studios looking for that distinctive finish in their prints. It measures 6 inches wide and has a weight of 240 GSM, giving you two practical details to match against the print size and paper weight you need. The Drylab name points to its intended print context, while “metallic” signals the look that sets it apart from a more neutral paper choice. It’s best suited to prints where you want the paper’s character to contribute to the presentation, rather than simply disappear behind the photograph. One honest point: a metallic surface is a considered aesthetic, not an automatic fit for every image. If that’s the look you’re after, this roll gives you a specific format and weight to work with.

Choosing a metallic paper

Think about the finished photograph before choosing a surface. A metallic look can be part of the visual presentation, so it may suit images where that character feels intentional. If you prefer the paper to stay visually quiet, this may not be the direction you want. That distinction is more useful than treating paper choice as a purely technical decision: the same photograph can feel different depending on the surface beneath it.

The roll format is also worth considering as part of your print workflow. Match the width to the output you plan to make, then decide whether the paper’s weight and appearance fit the job. This listing gives you a clear starting point for that decision without making claims about printer compatibility or the look of every image. For a studio or photographer selecting photo paper by both format and finish, those are the details to weigh before adding it to a print setup.
