Permajet Metallic Drylab Roll 8'' - 240 GSM

Permajet Metallic Drylab Roll 8'' - 240 GSM | Metallic photo paper in an 8-inch roll

The defining decision is metallic paper: this roll is made for shoppers who want that paper type, rather than an unspecified finish. It’s aimed at photographers and print specialists choosing roll-format photo paper for a Drylab workflow. The title gives two practical details to work with: the roll is 8 inches wide, and the paper is rated at 240 GSM. That makes it easier to narrow down a paper choice by format and weight before you get to the look you want from the finished print. The metallic designation is the central reason to consider it; the product name doesn’t describe a broader set of performance claims. If you’re comparing papers, the honest starting point is to decide whether a metallic paper and this roll width suit your print plans. No roll length is given here, so the width and weight are the concrete details to use.

For a print workflow, width and paper weight answer different questions. Eight inches refers to the width of the roll, while 240 GSM is the paper’s mass per square metre. GSM is a paper-weight measure; it isn’t a roll-weight figure. Keeping those details separate can help when you’re comparing options, especially if your decision is being guided by the size of print you want to make and the stock you prefer to handle.

The name also makes the intended paper category easy to identify: it’s photo paper in a roll, with a metallic designation and a stated weight. That’s useful when you’re selecting media by type rather than browsing for a general-purpose paper. One straightforward point: the title gives you a clear width and weight, but doesn’t tell you the roll length. If those numbers are the ones you need, this listing provides them without dressing them up as a promise about print results.
