Permajet Portrait White 285 Roll 44INCHES 15m

Permajet Portrait White 285 Roll 44INCHES 15m | Roll paper for wide-format photo printing

When individual sheets dictate the size of a print run, a roll gives you a different way to plan it. Permajet Portrait White 285 is photo paper supplied as a 44-inch-wide, 15-metre roll, for photographers and print studios who want roll stock in this particular size. The product name identifies it as Portrait White 285; the figures are useful when you’re planning around a wide roll and a set amount of paper. Its strongest fit is a workflow that calls for this width and roll length, rather than a purchase where the paper’s surface or printer compatibility is the deciding factor. Those details aren’t part of the product information available here, so I wouldn’t assume them from the name. If you already know the paper you need and are looking for it in a 44-inch roll, this gives you the format and length clearly.

Planning a print run

A roll can suit jobs where you want to work from continuous paper rather than a pack of separate sheets. With 15 metres to work with, you can plan a run around the print sizes you intend to make and the amount of paper each one will use. The 44-inch measurement gives you the roll width to account for when laying out a job; it isn’t a promise that every printer can take that width, so match the format to your own setup before placing an order. The name also includes “Portrait White 285”, which is the product designation to use when identifying this paper. That’s a fairly focused set of information, but it makes the key purchase decision straightforward: this is a 44-inch-wide roll, with a 15-metre length, under the Portrait White 285 name.
