Permajet Test Pack 4 DS A4 (2022)

Permajet Test Pack 4 DS A4 (2022) | Compare paper choices at A4

The defining choice is A4: it gives you a familiar print size for judging how a paper handles an image. The Permajet Test Pack 4 DS A4 is a photo-paper test pack for photographers who want to make a considered paper choice before settling on a print stock. It’s best suited to comparing options through your own images and printing routine, rather than relying on a description alone. That’s a practical way to decide: a picture with fine detail, smooth tones or strong colour can show you what matters for the work you actually make. The title also identifies this as the 2022 version. “DS” is part of its name, so I’ve kept that designation as supplied rather than guessing what it means. If you’re choosing paper for a particular project, the test-pack format gives you a way to assess your preferences with prints in hand.

For a fair comparison, use the same image and keep your print settings consistent as you assess each paper. Look at the prints in the light where they’re likely to be displayed, and take time to view both the overall image and the areas you care about most. A portrait, for example, may lead you to pay closer attention to skin tones, while a detailed landscape can make fine textures easier to judge. Those are general ways to assess photo paper, not claims about the specific papers in this pack. The title doesn’t identify the individual paper types, so I wouldn’t choose it on the assumption that it contains a particular finish or surface. Its clear appeal is the chance to test paper options in A4 and decide from the results you value.
