Permajet Titanium Gloss Metallic 60 inch Roll - 30MTR

Permajet Titanium Gloss Metallic 60 inch Roll - 30MTR | A wide roll for large prints

The defining choice here is the 60-inch roll: it gives printmakers a broad sheet format, rather than a fixed-size stack of paper. Permajet names this paper Titanium Gloss Metallic, and the roll is 30 metres long. It’s aimed at photographers and print studios making large-format photo prints, especially where choosing the print dimensions is part of the job. The honest trade-off is practical: a roll this wide takes planning and suitable space to handle, so it makes most sense when you have a clear use for the format. The gloss metallic description points to a finish-led paper choice; the product name alone doesn’t tell us how it will render a particular image or workflow. If you’re comparing paper for a specific print, consider the image and intended presentation first, then decide whether this broad roll format fits the work.

Considering the roll format

At 60 inches wide and 30 metres long, this is a substantial supply of paper, not a small pack for occasional prints. The roll format gives you latitude to choose print lengths, which can be useful when a project calls for more than one finished size. It also makes the physical dimensions worth thinking through before you buy: you’ll need a way to work with a wide roll and store it between print sessions. Those are practical points, not claims about printer compatibility or print performance. We’d choose this format when the width and quantity suit the work in hand, rather than simply because a larger roll sounds appealing. For a single small print, this is more material and scale than the job calls for.
