Revar Cine 4x5.65 Filter Cartridge
Revar Cine 4x5.65 Filter Cartridge | UV filtration in a cinema format
For a shot where you want UV filtration in the image path, the Revar Cine 4x5.65 Filter Cartridge gives you that option in a cartridge format. It’s intended for cinematographers and camera teams working with filter cartridges, rather than photographers looking for a conventional screw-in filter. The product name identifies its 4x5.65 format, while its UV designation tells you the type of filtration it provides. That makes it a focused piece of kit for building a filtration setup around a specific image-making need, such as managing UV in an exterior scene. Its appeal is its straightforward purpose: a UV filter in a named cinema format. The format is an important part of the decision, since a cartridge needs a matching place in your filtration setup. Choose it when UV filtration is what you need and the 4x5.65 cartridge format suits your rig.
Specialist Note
4x5.65 is the practical detail to start with: it tells you which cartridge format to make room for in your filtration setup. The cartridge form matters too; this isn’t a screw-in filter, so plan to use it as part of a cartridge-based arrangement. I’d consider it for exterior daylight scenes where you specifically want UV filtration in the optical path, or for a production building a consistent set of filters in this format. The honest caveat is that the format alone doesn’t tell you which holder accepts it, so make sure your existing setup is designed for a 4x5.65 cartridge. If it is, this is a clear, purpose-specific addition.
