Both the focus and aperture rings are engineered for fluid operation, allowing for quiet, accurate handling during recording. This makes the lens especially well suited to cinematic work where consistent, refined adjustments are essential.
Optical design with advanced coatings
The optical construction includes 12 elements arranged in 10 groups, combining three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements, including one hybrid element. To help reduce reflections and improve image clarity, all lens elements feature Nano Crystal Anti-Reflection Coating (NCS).
