SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro 1TB (UHS-II V60 U3 C10 R300 MB/S/W250 MB/s 6K)

SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro 1TB | High capacity for 6K workflows

The combination of 1TB capacity, a V60 rating and a 6K marking gives this SanDisk SDXC Extreme Pro a specific brief: high-capacity storage for a video-focused workflow. It suits photographers and video makers who already know they need an SDXC card and are choosing by capacity, speed-class labels and stated transfer figures. The title gives read and write figures of 300 MB/s and 250 MB/s, alongside UHS-II, U3 and C10 markings. That’s useful detail when those exact labels matter to your choice. For a project where storage capacity is a priority, 1TB is the headline figure; the 6K marking signals its intended place in a video workflow. I’d assess it by those stated figures rather than relying on the “Extreme Pro” name alone.

How to assess this card

I’d start with the demands of the project, not the name on the label. Decide which criteria matter most in your workflow: storage capacity, recording classification or the quoted transfer rates. Then compare like with like against the other cards on your shortlist; a higher-looking number in one category won’t automatically answer a different requirement. This approach is especially useful when you’re buying for a specific job rather than simply replacing a card. The honest point is that there’s no universally right SD card based on a product title alone. This one gives you a set of clear figures to weigh against your needs, so it makes most sense when those figures match the job you have in mind.
